The Enigmatic Host

I've always been fond of the pink Horrors.  I loved the idea of them splitting up and becoming 2 blue horrors back in 6th edition.  I always planned on doing a full Tzeentch army but have just now gotten around to it.   The pictures of the newer pink horror and flamer models in the daemon book, coupled with the ability to use the army in both systems, finally gave me the incentive I needed to start this army.  My first idea was centered around a full compliment of 12 flamers, along with 4 heralds all with a power vortex.  After that i just crammed as many horrors as i could into the rest of the points.  The problem was the army lacked a center piece and a leader.  I looked at adding a Lord of change, and realized if i was going to add one, I might as well add the most vicious lord of change there was.  I dropped a unit of 6 flamers (12 is really overkill anyway), a herald, some horrors, added Kairos, and The Enigmatic Host was born.

Background

The servent of the old ones observed the heavens with a solemn stare.  His gaze was fixed upon a certain star, unremarkable to most.  In a sea of sparkles this one appeared no different than any of the others.  Time would change this, as it changes everything.  Minutes later it was no longer unremarkable, but remarkable, burning as bright as the moon and growing brighter.  Turning red, the star streaked across the sky above the head of it's observer.  The air cracked, and light exploded in all directions as the object reached it's final resting place miles away.  With a heavy heart the servent turned and walked away to inform the others of it's arrival...

The Great Conspirator knew this moment would come.  A moment when the servents of the old ones would stir again.  Tzeentch could feel their energy as soon as the artefact arrived.  He could feel the very magic in them pulsing in time with the magic emanating form the artefact.   The ancient race was stirring in the mortal world with a renewed sense of purpose.  It was now time for the Great Conspirator to send his greatest servent into the mortal world.  Only Kairos can fully know the plans of the old ones and their ancient servents, for only he can untwist the tangled web of possibilities that is the future.  As the old ones used the slaan, Tzeentch will send Kairos to use and manipulate the humans.  Their greed and mistrust of those different from them makes them easily manipulated.  If he could wrestle this artefact from the servents of the old ones and put it into the hands of the humans, their magical powers would be increased exponentially.  Only the humans would be ignorant and greedy enough to use that magic to gain power over the other races of the old world.  This artefact alone would restore the winds of magic to the entire world, even with the great vortex of the high elves operational.  With the winds of magic restored, daemon hosts could once again flow into the mortal realm, bringing chaos and destruction with them.
